Payment through private insurance
Outpatient psychotherapy with a focus in behavioral therapy will generally be refunded by every private insurance. The probatory sessions can be held before applying for any refund. Therefore it is possible to get an appointment for an initial consultation very quickly in my practice.
Please contact your insurance before the first appointment to find out if psychotherapy is part of your contract. Sometimes there are limitations regarding therapeutic services (E.g. amount of sessions in a calendar year).
The procedure of reimbursement for therapeutic services is the same as for other medical services. You will get a monthly invoice, which you will have to pay first. Then you can file the invoice with your insurance company.
